Frequently Asked Questions
15 species are supported on the Vetscan HM5. In the 5-part differential mode: canine, feline, equine, cattle, alpaca, and llama. In the 3-part differential mode: pig, goat, sheep, rat, ferret, mouse, guinea pig, rabbit.

Hematology analysis requires EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood.
Shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture. Open reagent packs should be used within 26 weeks (~6 months).
